India will celebrate the independence day of the 74th year of independence from the British Raj on August 15th. We also remember the 200-year-old struggle for freedom by our countrymen. Indian Independence Day is the most important day in India. On this day, the Indian people celebrate independence day with much fanfare and pride. Every August 15th day is celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. Every August 15th day, The Prime Minister unveils the “tiranga” or the tricolour on Red Fort. The pride of India’s citizens is the National Flag of India. It represents our hopes, dreams and aspirations. Jawaharlal Nehru, the late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, called it “a flag of freedom not only for us but also a symbol of freedom for all people.”

In the Independent of India, many freedom fighters contribute to India’s independence, such as Mahatma Gandhi Jawaharlal Nehru, Netaji Shubash Chandra Bosh, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey other freedom fighters. Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most important leaders of the freedom fighter. He is called the father of the nation. Born Mahatma Gandhi in Gujarat, India, sometime October 2nd, 1869, He then left India for education in London, where he pursued a course in law. He studied law for three years in London, after which he spent his early years as a legal consultant in South Africa. After complete education, Mahatma Gandhi comes back to India and creates a movement against the British for India’s independence. Mahatma Gandhi was a great soul who had given his life for the greater good of his nation. Mahatma Gandhi is truly a national treasure for the entire nation.
